tripleS @ THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS 2026

tripleS appeared at the 2026 Edition of THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (on September 19 in Busan Asiad Main Stadium) and performed "Baby Flower (TMA ver.)," as well a cover-version of aespa’s "LEMONADE". They too were awarded as co-winners of the "Global Hot Trend" (alongside CLOSE YOUR EYES)!

THIS particular blog-feature is dedicated to what they WORE at the event, donning the school uniforms seen in 2000's "Battle Royale", including the "explosive choker" but this time imbued with the members' SSS#s!

"Battle Royale" (バトル・ロワイアル) is a 2000 Japanese dystopian action film directed by Kinji Fukasaku from a screenplay by Kenta Fukasaku, based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Koushun Takami. It follows a group of junior high school students forced to fight to the death by a totalitarian Japanese government (Source). This is one of my fav J-films, and this is the trailer:

With their recent "Badge War" (all 4 seasons of), and especially when tripleS have been known for their "school girl uniforms" too - this "homage get-up" is exceedingly apt, IMHO! Now to get the boys from "Idntt" to dress up, and make this a MODHAUS revival of the classic MUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!

....But first, let's see the stage for "LEMONADE", cheers.
