GFRIEND

With "Baby Flower", folks have been referencing "Dreamcatcher" (which I am familiar with) and "GFRIEND" (whom I am wholly unfamiliar with)... until a YT Reactor mentioned "Time for the Moon Night", so here I am...!



"GFriend" was a 6-member KPOP girl group that debuted in 2015 under Source Music. Apparently their disbandment was announced in 2021 when they were abandoned by their agency.

Eunha, SinB, and Umji formed "VIVIZ" (formed by BPM Entertainment), whom I recognised from Queendom2 (as well performing select GFRIEND songs on the show), and I've not ventured beyond that... until now. In March 2026, the group terminated their contract with BPM Entertainment amid payment disputes.

The sole track I was familiar with was "Apple", which I would not immediately reference to "Baby Flower" but instead somewhat adjacent to "LOONA", in my soundscape anyways :)
