Of Busted Laptop & Mobile VCD/CD Players

With my laptop's CD drive busted (my sole source of music player this side if the Heng Household), my salvation lie in the battery-operated VCD/CD player I found last night … but alas, the Verdict is In: FAILED :(

In an era of digital downloads, I am still stuck in CD-mode ("Compact Disc", in case you might not recognize this bygone notion, much lass LPs and Cassette Tapes :p), favoring physical tangibility ... and now, that technologies' past seemed to have caught up to me, and I am stuck with a very select series of songs on my laptop's iTunes.

What would YOU do to get at your tunes? Please feel free to wigh in in this post's comments section, if you so please :)

The deal is simple: since the CD player on my laptop has died a while back, I have been listening on repeat a few CDs initially downloaded on my iTunes and nothing more ... With the discovery of this, I might have a chance if being able to listen to my CDs again! Provided this player still works, that is... First must get batterie - wish me LUCK, folks! :) #henglife
